Monster Hunter World: Iceborne arrives on PC in January

Good news has arrived for all you Monster Hunters out there. While we’ve had a fixed Monster Hunter World: Iceborne release date of September 6 for consoles for a little while, there hasn’t been one for a PC release - until now. Capcom has just announced in a press release that it will be coming to PC early next year. In the release, Capcom doesn’t give a specific release day but, happily, does provide a specific release month when we can expect to see Monster Hunter World’s first major expansion come to our PCs - January, 2020. It was previously thought that it might drop this winter, so the first month of 2020 won’t mean too long a wait for Hunters ready to take on the new ice dragon Velkhana and arctic land of Hoarforst. We’ve already got a good idea of what Iceborne will bring. We know it’ll feature a map ready to rival the size of the base game, small creatures you can ride across it, and of course, lots of new gear to try out. You can also expect to see more exciting content arrive in the future, as the devs have said that they want “a great, meaty post-launch life-cycle.”
