Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti Super teased by GPU maker… or a confused intern

Take this how you will, but Inno3D, purveyors of fine Nvidia graphics cards, has either leaked the existence of a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Super card, or else made a simple typo in the terms and conditions for its Control/Wolfenstein Youngblood giveaway. Whichever of those eventualities is true the company has since deleted the offending detail from back in July and so obviously it never happened. That’s how the internet works, right? You say something wrong, delete it, and everyone forgets about it. Except that obviously in reality it gets screenshotted, tweeted, and then disseminated around the world in a matter of minutes. Such is the way with the errata in Inno3D’s GPU listing. You could take it that because Inno3D has deleted the listing that somehow confirms the veracity of its content - hiding it presumes guilt - but more realistically it’s likely to have been removed from the Ts&Cs because it’s just plain wrong. After all, the redemption period in question ends today, and even if Nvidia released the RTX 2080 Ti Super today you’d have to rush to be able to squeeze a copy of Control out of Inno3D by midnight. I wouldn’t worry about putting the effort into getting Youngblood, to be honest…
