ScummVM started many years ago as a program to get original LucasArts adventures up and running on modern machines, but since then it’s expanded in scope to bring back a host of the best classic PC games. A new update for the program has just launched, adding support for over a dozen new titles spread across a variety of engines. The headline addition is Westwood’s Blade Runner, which has been notoriously difficult to get running properly on modern PCs. Now you’ve no longer got to deal with a lengthy list of fanmade patches and updates to enjoy the side story. Like the movie, the adventure is set in 2019, so this is really a perfect excuse to revisit it. There are 15 other new titles now supported in this update, including Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness, as well as Might and Magic IV and V. There’s also a bunch of more obscure stuff, including a selection of Hoyle games, Hyperspace Delivery Boy, Mission Supernova, The Prince and the Coward, Versailles 1685, and Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick
